  1. Hi...you have done some beautiful work (ok, a LOT...not just some) throughout your home. I really enjoy your simplistic and functional style. :) Can you tell me more about the very long shelf in your living room, above the TV (and I believe there is a shorter one as well)? I would email you but my email wouldn't recognize the email address above. The shelf is something I have been considering in our new (and small) house and I was wondering where yours came from, is it pretty sturdy and any other tips or info you might want to share. Thanks!

    1. Thanks so much! I'm sorry the email didn't work for you. The floating shelves in our living room were built from these plans: http://ana-white.com/2010/04/plans-youngsters-floating-shelves-have.html. We have noticed that the wood bracket (according to the plan) that they are mounted on is not super strong. It works fine to display some decorative items, but I don't think they can handle a ton of weight. We have been thinking of ways to reinforce them somehow and if we figure it out I'll be sure to post about it. I hope that helps!

    1. Hi Sara, When I was looking for the mailbox last year they had a few colours through the Home Depot. I quickly did a search of their site and couldn't find it. I wonder if they discontinued it? :(

    2. Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, I saw a few links on google about it being on clearance at home depot a little while back so sounds like they may not be carrying it anymore.
How do you like the mailbox? I could try to get one in the US if you give it high marks :)

    3. We like it a lot. It's a little bigger in person than we anticipated, but the large size has been great. If we go away for awhile we don't have to worry about getting someone to pick up the mail. Magazines also fit in there without having to be folded and small parcels fit well too. You've probably seen the post on the mailbox already, but that might give you a sense of the size in relation to a fairly small front entry. Overall, it's really well made and we feel it's quite secure with the lock. I hope that helps!

    1. Hi, the curtains were a DIY from a pair of Dwell shower curtains (aqua gio print) that I lengthened by adding some white fabric to the bottoms.

    1. Unfortunately, at the moment, I don't have the time to produce my projects for sale. Feel free to email me with your contact information and I'll let you know if I decide to start selling my work in the future. Thanks so much for your interest!

    1. Hi Kelly,
I'm glad you found my blog! The sofa is the Muuto "Rest" sofa. We purchased from TORP in Toronto.
