I'm almost ready to show you my new front entry, but first I'm going to share with you the art I created for the space (you can download the printable below). There's also a sneak peek of the space at the bottom of the post if you're curious. :)
This art was inspired by the piece I had selected initially in my planning post. My inspiration piece featured circular shapes, but I wanted something a little more angular and so I decided to try and make one from hexagon shapes in photoshop.
I added some gold flecks to the art after I printed it. I used a gold Sharpie paint pen and simply drew some random lines on two sides of the black hexagon. The printable art below does not have the gold so you have the option of adding it or not. It was a super easy two minute addition to the print.

I was in a rush to photograph this art on a very overcast and rainy day, but I managed to run out to the garden and cut a couple wet peonies. We actually rescued this peony bush from our neighbours the night before they tore down the original house to make room for a new monster spec home.
Click on the picture below to download the this modern hexagon art. The image is 8"x10". *this printable is for personal use only*
And finally, here is the sneak peek of the finished entry.
I'll be sure to share the whole space soon! If you decide to use this print in your home, I'd love it if you would share a photo via email or any of the social media below.
