Just a quick post today to share a super simple Christmas decorating project and to let you see the tiny bit of progress in my office nook. My desk space has a new String Pocket shelf and a Muuto the Dots hook. We mounted both of these awhile ago, but with all my Christmas projects that's as far as I've gotten. For Christmas I decided to try and fill the wall space with a little washi tape Christmas tree. After Christmas I'll have to work on getting some sort of artwork/photos up on the wall beside the shelf (I'm thinking I'll use the hook for hanging something or rather). :)
The washi tape tree really doesn't need any tutorial. I just taped a tree shape on the wall and a star on the hook. I also added a little greenery, a pine cone and some fairy lights. I found the lights at The Bay (Lord & Taylor brand) on 70% discount and they have a bendable gold wire which I love. Don't mind the random photo of Little Pilot on the wall. It's covering up an artwork receptacle.
Here's a wider shot of my desk space with a little Christmas decor.
I love my little washi tape Christmas tree and how simple it is. I think it fits right in with the rest of our trees (modern paper tree garlands, painted tree craft & Danish wooden dowel tree). This Christmas seems to be all about the trees. :)
so fun! love the tape you used with it!
