Makers No. 53

Welcome to the Makers this week!  If you missed yesterday's post, you may not know that we are well underway with our basement/sauna renovation and have actually also started my mom's kitchen renovation.  Her kitchen is completely demoed and the new flooring is going in today.  My mom will be getting my old kitchen cabinets and it's going to be so fun to see them in a new kitchen soon.  There is a tight 2 week deadline to get it all done.

I'm really excited to see what you have been up to this week.  The features this week are amazing.  Don't forget to check them out!

Did you see the BEFORE photo of this mud room? It's truly amazing what a little paint and elbow grease can create, and I'm sure Virginia's mom is enjoying the beautiful transformation her daughter created. Be sure to pop on over to Fynes Designs for creative DIY projects, inspiring before and after photos, yummy recipes, sewing ideas, and fun kid crafts. Here is a small sampling of what you will find when you get there...

We had so many inspiring projects linked up last week, and here are the 5 favorites: Ashley from Domestic Imperfection shared this absolutely stunning DIY sunburst mirror. Not only does this mirror make a statement in their guestroom, but it cost less than $20! If you have a sweet tooth then these red velvet mason jar cakes from Sunny with a Chance of Sprinkles should do the trick. Mason Jar + Cake = Perfection.
Not only is this bathroom transformation from Bigger Than The Three Of Us beautiful, but it was also their first time doing any electrical, plumbing, tile work, etc. If that doesn't inspire you, I don't know what will.

When Anderson and Grant spotted some Pottery barn wall art she was instantly inspired, and if you ask me the outcome is even better than the original! Click here to check out her Cutting Board Wall Art.

If you love Ikea Hacks then you'll love this modern and stylish floating sideboard from Petite Modern Life. Head on over to view the full tutorial and check out the rest of her Scandi living room reveal while you're there.
