I haven't written a Somethings post in awhile and with Christmas fast approaching, I thought a star something post would be appropriate. I've always loved stars. I even painted stars on the walls in my bedroom as a kid. It was really difficult to choose just a few star items/diys to share with you today. They're all in monochrome and natural colours that I think are perfect for a Scandinavian Christmas. I'm really wanting to try a couple of things from the inspiration below in my home.
This O Holy Night Print can be found here and the DIY advent calendar to go with it here. I think it's so important to display the true meaning of Christmas in my home and think I will definitely need to incorporate some scripture or song lyrics like this in our Christmas decor.
I'm ordering these star trousers for my little one. They're perfect and reasonably priced too.
I love this star garland hanging in front of the window. The evergreen branch in the copper vase is just the right Christmassy touch. (image via)
I really haven't crocheted much since I was a kid, but this star pattern might be a good reason to pick it up again.
To Add to the Collection:
If you're like me, you may have a collection of pillows already, but who can resist a lovely little star pillow. It would be so sweet in a nursery or child's room.
To Count Down:
I'm so excited to be able to use my dowel tree and star advent calendar again this year. The boys' just love decorating it over and over.
