September Printable Calendar

Happy Labour Day!  I hope you are enjoying the last holiday of the summer.  School starts for us tomorrow and I've been crying all weekend.  I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow after we drop off Little Pilot for his first day!

Today's also the first day of September and time for a new calendar.  I tried taking photos of the calendar in my workspace.  The trees outside are so full of leaves right now that we really don't get a lot of direct light in this space during the day.  I tried taking these photos with the afternoon light and they came out quite warm and shadowy.  Hopefully you can still get a sense of what my workspace is looking like for fall.  It's mostly black, white and grey with a few touches of pastels in the photos, the Eames chair and even the sharpies in the pencil cup.  The calendar for this month is my take on a tribal/teepee pattern.  I'm beginning to realize the boys' joint birthday is coming up fast and I need to start planning their teepee party.  You can find the links to the printable calendars below.  There's a Finnish and English version again (*please remember these calendars are for personal use only).

  1. I loooooove your workspace. Especially the chair. :) I think I've drooled over it before (several times). Our school starts tomorrow as well. Big Miss going to 2nd grade. Little Miss won't start until 9th when her first day of school is. Tears are in the horizon for me to then as well. Hugs my friend!

    1. Thanks Ina. I think I'm more nervous about school than Little Pilot. :) I can't believe you'll have both girls in school/preschool! They grow up too fast.

  3. Thanks for the calendar. I love it ❤ I have said when meeting parents (I'm a teacher) that sunglasses are just fine, even indoors =D when leaving your child for the first time. You can drop a tear and no one will see it =)

I love your pastels. I've started craving for more pastels too for our house. Just don't know which room. I just changed living room drapes for Marimekko's Kulkue with bright colors. Maybe up stairs hallway/tiny living room. I have to think about... Have a great week!

    1. You're welcome! I may have to wear my sunglasses tomorrow. :)

The Kulkue drapes sound wonderful. Love that pattern!

  4. Beautiful space! I'm a teacher but on maternity leave - so will be missing going back to school this year! Good luck to you and your little ones.

    1. Thank you Laura! Congratulations on your new addition! I always found that while on mat. leave time seemed to just fly by and one season changed to another at lightning speed. I think they still do. Now I just have back to school to mark this new season. :)

  5. Hi,
I really love your workspace and especially those black and white tree (?) pattern mugs on the table. Can you tell me where you have found them?

    1. Thank you! The black and white mugs are small tea cups from David's Tea. They were a gift awhile back along with the teapot in this post: http://www.nalleshouse.com/2014/02/diy-wooden-bead-trivet.html. I'm not sure if they still have them. I believe the pattern was called "compass". I hope that helps!
