Some Things: Fruity

Happy August!  With the beginning of a new month, I thought I'd start something new on this little blog.  In the past I've been righting inspiration posts every now and then in hopes of inspiring you and me to get creative.  I've enjoyed doing these posts and thought it would be fun to start a series/column.  I find that I'm always looking for "something" to do.  Quite often it's decor or DIY-related, but it really can be anything (baking, reading, discovering new places with the kids, etc.).  So the column I'm going to start is "Some Things".  It's where I'll share what's inspiring me and they'll all be "something" to do.

This summer I've come across so many super cute fruit projects and products.  It's not all that surprising since fruits are in abundance in the summer months.   All the fruit projects below are bright, colourful, happy and just scream "summer".

TO SEW:  DIY fruit zippered pouches
TO BAKE:  Fruit Macarons (this post is actually about decorating the macarons, but you could bake them too. :)  Making macarons has been on my to bake list forever!)
TO MAKE:  DIY Fruit Tissue Balls
TO WEAR:  Watermelon Mocs
TO PRINT:  Printable Summer Fruit Garland
TO DECORATE:  DIY Watermelon Entry Mat

Have a lovely weekend!
