DIY: Christmas So Far in the Dining Room

After you saw our latest Christmas craft/art in the dining room yesterday, I wanted to share a couple other DIY/crafts that Little Pilot and I made for there.  The first is a wood veneer paper chain that I strung some twinkle lights through.  I'm sharing the tutorial for this at 4men1lady (you can find my tutorial here along with a few more pictures).  I love how just laying it there on the sideboard makes it look like a modern garland.

I also punched a bunch of circles out of scrapbook paper and Little Pilot washi taped them onto our airplane print.  He thought it was great fun to decorate the airplane, the sky, the buildings…  I think it was a fun activity for him.

So just a quick post today to let you know about a couple more Christmas DIY/crafts we've made.  Don't forget to check out my post at 4men1lady!

    1. Thanks Katja. The font is "satisfy". I downloaded it from google fonts, I think. It's one of the fonts I used on my new blog design.

    1. Thanks Alexis! I've been thinking of hanging the chain on the wall. I think it would cast some nice shadows with all the rings. :)
