INSPIRATION: 15 Fall Crafts for Kids

My boys have been attending a Finnish mom and tots group.  We speak Finnish at home and they really seem to enjoy having a little group where they can interact, sing and play in Finn.  The parents in the group take turns bringing a snack or craft and next week I'm to bring the craft.  Since Halloween is over now, I think a fall craft will be perfect for our group.  As I was browsing Pinterest for fall craft inspiration, I came across so many fun fall crafts that I thought I'd share some with you.  I haven't exactly decided what I am going to do for our fall craft next week, but I have a lot of inspiration here!  I'm leaning towards something with leaves and/or acorns (my fave!).

Leaf crafts are a must for fall:
This Thanksgiving tree is a really sweet idea.  The child writes on the leaves what he/she is thankful for.

A pumpkin craft is another must:
I love this Paper Pumpkin Mobile

Pumpkin Spice Scented Play Dough.  I'm sure this would encourage more play dough tasting with my toddler. :)

I have a lot of acorns left from my felted acorn projects (you can find them here, here and here) and the next two crafts would be so cute to do with them.

I also have a thing for pom-poms (see my pom-pom projects here, here and here).
These Pom-Pom Apples are too cute!

Here are a couple more fun leaf crafts:

Here's a way to make something fun from your nature walk findings:

We can't forget all the woodland creatures that are perfect for fall:

I hope you've found some kids fall crafts inspiration here.  My little guy loves crafts and I think we are going to be craving together this weekend. :)  Happy Friday!

  6. oh lucy would love any of them (and so would her mom!) ;)
the pom-pom apples would be kind of neat for this group - the kids could of course help with wrapping the yarn and snipping the ends - probably something most of the kids have never done!
i also love the leafy hedgehog - totally simple enough for the youngest ones (if the face is already drawn/printed for them).
i better get on them snacks...!
