"MINT"SPIRATION

I've been loving mint lately.  Like A LOT.  I even bought this belt and these jeans from Target the other day. :)  I think I'm fully on the mint band wagon.  I've also been working on bringing a little mint into my home via some minty projects.  I made this  little "mint"spiration board and thought I'd share it with y'all to give you some ideas on how you can bring mint into your space (just in case you may be a little mint obsessed like me :).
2.  mint stool
3.  Even the famous Domino Book of Decorating is mint
4.  mint Kitchenaid mixer for your kitchen
6.  Paint some furniture mint (love this vintage desk)
7.  Some art with a dash of mint.

I have been collecting some pictures of mint things on pinterest to try and figure out what shade of mint I like best.  I seem to like them all and have incorporated a few minty shades in my latest project.  There's a couple of clues as to what my project is in the board above so stay tuned(no spoilers here)! :)

  1. love it! I'm in love with that mixer....I already have a perfectly acceptable white one, though, so I could never justify it. oh well.

    1. I've also been thinking of ways to change up my white mixer, but it's still working fine. :( I'm definitely going to get a fun coloured one if it does conk out one day. :)

  2. Love it all!! Especially that light! My wedding invitations were a minty blueish green (years ago) but it's still one of my favourite decor colors around.

    1. Mint seems to be a popular wedding colour now too. Mint would be a perfect colour for invitations!

  3. of course i love mint! (clearly...) but i think i liked it before it became a wagon lol...
you know though, the aalto stool is more of a 'sage' green than mint - when i got to pick my prize, i asked them about that (i thought it would have been a nice heirloom for lucy minttu since she was in the picture when we won the contest) - but it turns out it isn't really a mint shade of green... just in case if you plan on ordering one!

    1. Thanks Jenny. Too bad it's not as minty as I thought. I've seen it in a few pastel interiors and thought it was more minty. I still love that stool and your white one is so nice too. :)

    1. For some reason I've been thinking of your entry chair too!? I think it's because I saw this ombre painted one: http://homemade-modern.com/ep5-1-ombre-chair/. It would definitely be so pretty in mint. :)
