April is 1/2 birthday month over here at Nalle's House. Both my boys are celebrating 1/2 birthdays. So this week I am planning to share some birthday/milestone related posts. First off is the monthly baby photo project. Co-pilot is 6 months! For the milestone photo, I added some of the nicknames Co-pilot has. Mummu calls him "tahtisilma" which literally translated is "star eyes". I don't think English has the exact translation (maybe "twinkle" or "sparkle"). Little Pilot has started to give nicknames and I absolutely love the name he gave Co-pilot "My Peanut Butter".
Here's the onesie photo. Co-pilot is one long baby!
The background fabric I used to sew a pillow for the living room. Now you have a sneak peek of the material. :)
Here are a few of my favourite pictures from the shoot. I forgot to turn down my ISO and I'm a little bummed that there's a little grain in the photos. :(
Co-pilot is still in love with his feet. I am always equally amused and amazed when he puts that little toe in his mouth and sucks away. :)
That's Co-pilot at 6 months!

Voi mika sopoliini! Tahtisilma tosiaankin. :) Ihana puolivuotias teille siella!
ReplyDeleteKiitos! Meilla oli paljon juhlimista. :)
DeletePretty fabric and beautiful baby! I love the one where he's playing with his feet. Abe is still only interested in his hands; it's fun to get a glimpse of where he'll be in a few months :). And I don't think they look grainy...but you can always just pretend you were going for a gritty, photojournalism look ;)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet little " tähtisilmä" you got there!
ReplyDeleteKiitos. :)
DeleteHe is so cute! Happy Half-birthday Co-Pilot!
ReplyDeleteI once made a 1/2 birthday for my friend's son. It was really cute and looked like half a cake. So fun!
We just made some cupcakes to celebrate (they're Little Pilot's favourite!). Ever fun to have a 1/2 birthday cake.
DeleteThank you. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Edmonds, WA!
ReplyDeleteHappy 1/2 birthday to you! I celebrated my half birthday on the 15th (yesterday), too! It's fun to know I'm not the only one who likes to acknowledge the day (even if I'm 35!) :) Love your blog!
Cheers,
Annelise
