Canada Day

It has been super long since I have posted on this blog.  I have going back to work and pregnancy to blame.  It has taken this long for me to be able to even look at a computer screen without feeling nauseous!  I did want to start posting some of the fun things we have been up to with Little Pilot.

I know it has been a couple weeks since Canada Day, but I was going through some of our photos and thought I would show how much Little Pilot has changed.

Here is this year's photo of Little Pilot.  (I was able to snag Pappa's new camera for a couple seconds to capture this one.)

I can't believe how much he's changed!  I wish I had a better camera back then.  These were taken on my older iPhone.

This year Tech Guy was home for Canada Day (he usually golfs the whole weekend).  We had a pretty   busy day though.  We visited our local celebrations on Main Street early in the day and then rushed off to the airport to fly to my sister's wedding.  Little Pilot had fun.  He is still talking about the clown that gave him a balloon on Main Street ("pelle anto pallon" - for any of you who know Finn).  He also has had a renewed interest in playing with his airplanes.  He likes to point to the passenger cabin of the plane and say that he is flying in there.
I think the best thing Little Pilot said on Canada Day was when we brought him straight to the car from his nap.  Tech Guy told him we were going flying and Little Pilot responded in his sleepy state, "No niin. Kiva" (this little guy is learning some old school Finn! :).
